Vitamin shower filter startup nabs US$823k in series A

Shower filter maker H201 raised US$823k from Coolidge Corner Investment in a series A round.

Its shower filter serves as a water softener by filtering out fluoride and heavy metals, and contains vitamin C and aroma therapy. Made with environment-friendly plastics and 100% plant-based aroma, each shower filter costs US$29 upwards and lasts for 30-45 days for a family of four.

The company achieved US$4.1 million sales in 2018 and expects to hit US$8.2 million in transactions this year. H201’s shower filters have sold to over 30k users in 16 countries, with 80% of sales coming from overseas.
