ODDM acquires social commerce Empathy With

ODDM, operator of influencer marketing platform ADPICK, acquired social commerce firm Empathy With.

ODDM will establish itself further into eCommerce industry with the acquisition. Recently its subsidiary launched Celpicks, an influencer commerce platform.

Empathy With owns SNS pages with number of followers exceeding 20 million, including 5 million from South Asia. In 2018, it launched social commerce site bcommonce and rapidly expanded. Offline giants such as Olive Young, ARTBOX, Pierrot Shopping and Butter carry its products.

Social commerce is sub category of eCommerce that involves social media that supports social interaction and user contribution to assist online buying and selling of products and services.
