Mom-Sitter, a childcare platform, secures US$2.5m investment

HappyMomWorld, operator of childcare platform MomSitter, announced US$ 2.5 million in funding from Mirae Asset Venture Investment, Dt& Investment and K-run Ventures.

MomSitter is an online platform to search for babysitters by location and service. Available nationwide, the app boasts 140K sitters and 70K parent users. Parents can choose babysitters based on their profile, reviews and identity verifications. Babysitters on the platform cost US$ 7 an hour.

The app boasts US$ 1.7 million monthly orders in April 2019.

The company will use the proceeds to enhance services and improve the matching algorithm with big data.
