Medical concierge startup Himedi secures US$4.9m

Himedi, a concierge services company in medical tourism, raises
US$4.9 million in a Series B round led by White Star Capital from US.
Lighthouse Combined Investment and Solidus Investment made investment as well. Murex Partners who participated in a Series A round joined this round subsequently. The company has raised total US$6.5 million so far.

Founded in Dec 2011, Himedi is the first medical concierge service provider in Korea specialized in middle eastern clients. Based on its offline service experiences, the company launched online service in 2019 to attract medical tourists directly. Around 4,000 patients and guardians enjoyed Himedi’s online and offline services last year.

Average medical bill size among Himedi clients is US$2,190 and average days staying in hotel is 30 days.
