Adult education startup Fast Campus banks US$8.3m in series B

Fast campus, a full-stack higher education startup for adults, raised US$8.3 million in a series B round from multiple investors. Total funding to date is US$12 million. Investors who joined latest round are Devsisters Ventures, Valuesystem Investment Management, Skywalk Asset Management, Seoul Investment Partners, Woori Technology Investment and Fast Track Asia.

The company provides classes in data science, programming, marketing, finance and foreign languages. It recently launched a separate website, Coloso, to offer classes in cooking, hairdressing, illustration and webcomics.

It boasts US$16.5 million yearly revenue, over 120k users and more than 2,000 trainers.

Fast campus will use the proceeds to launch subscription channels, open more classes and optimize offline user experiences.
